VISION STATEMENT:---

The vision of Bulindi ZARDI is to improve livelihoods and income of resource poor farmers in the Mid Western Zone through improved productivity of the farming systems

MISSION STATEMENT:---

To improve agricultural productivity of the MWZ people by conducting relevant research and promoting technologies suitable to the zone while sustaining the natural resource base.

GOAL:----

To enable NARO to respond and contribute to sustainable improvement of agricultural productivity by conducting relevant research and eradicating poverty

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:---

• Understand the livelihood, constraints, opportunities, interactions and productive resources in the Mid Western Zone.
• To conduct Participatory Adaptive Research and avail relevant technologies to uptake pathways.
• To provide and process feedback between Farmers, Researchers and other partners thereby enhancing the ability of NARO to respond rapidly to locate specific constraints, opportunities, system interactions and emerging issues.
• To multiply foundation (Seeds) to distribute to uptake pathways and other research partners
• To establish and strengthen partnership and linkages in order to exploit synergy in research and to scale up the flow of technologies.
