Technologies at FOSRI

Achievements: Contribution to food policies in the country; Production of 'A Cleaning Guide for Fresh Foods Factories'; Development of Software tools; LOG IT, CLEANSE IT and ICE IT in collaboration with Mike Dillon Associates of UK.

The above tools are used by fish processing factories as tools for generating daily production costs and predicting costs of sanitation and icing of fish. Three out of the seven fish processing factories are currently using the software. FOSRI has also been involved in fish loss assessment and is devising means to minimise such loss
